8 White Stones

We say, "This is full of bullshit!" when a Feng Shui practitioner tells us 8 white stones & a red doormat will make us rich.  But we still listen. We go home; do the set-up and hope to receive the good luck.

The dictionary defines superstition as an unjustified belief in supernatural beings and causation.  What if this belief is justified?

Superstition is you believe in something or someone that you don't understand, or you do not have the real proof for.

The thing is there is too many that we don't understand and we want to be saved and safe and we choose to be superstitious most of the time.

What is Feng Shui?  This is a simple question that can be difficult to answer.  Feng Shui is an ancient art and science developed over 3,000 years ago in China.  It is a complex body of knowledge that reveals how to balance the energies of any given space to assure the health and good fortune for people inhabiting it.

Feng Shui is based on the Taoist vision and understanding of nature, particularly on the idea that the land is alive and filled with Chi, or energy.  CO2 neutrality?  YES.  Nuclear power?  NO.

The ancient Chinese believed that the land's energy could either make or break the kingdom, so to speak.  The cosmological notions of Yin-yang and the 5 Elements are some of the basic aspects of a Feng Shui analysis and the doctrines of traditional Chinese medicine.

I don't believe in what most Feng Shui practitioners say but I do believe in 2 things.  First, if one TRULY understand the ancient Chinese theories of Yin-yang and the 5 Elements and can well fully master these in all aspects of life the world we live in he is the one who saves the world and the universe.  Second, if you really, really, I mean REALLY, think 8 white stones and a red doormat can make you rich - you will be rich. No doubt!
