The good old days

I remember when we were younger, much younger all the pretty girls did either one of these 2 things - to be an air stewardess, or step on to the big screen for Miss Hong Kong.

Those were the good old days.

We did not watch out for genetically engineered food.
We did not pay more for good organic ones.
We ran around water and mountains where it told us how to survive in the wild.
We did not waste our time in the internet where it stopped us from going out far beyond.
Moms were healthier because the laundry scrubbing on the washboards were the best workout.
We did not follow the trends because we learned to live in style! Appreciated and found our own style.

Those were the good old days because ...
when we ate we really ate.
when we played we really played.
when we talked and laughed we really talked and laughed.

We need tears and sweat but not pamper and instant solutions.
We need to imagine but not be fed with processed and model answers.

Those were the good old days because the pretty girls were pretty from the inside out.
